Q: How do I know your add-ons do not contain adware, spyware, or viruses?
A: Our plug-ins have been reviewed by a number of different download sites and they have all certified that our add-ons are free of unwanted content like this. Click on the images below to see the various certifications we have received. Other reviews come from SnapFiles and Download.com which can be found on their respective sites.
Q: Why is Xippee not working on my Internet Explorer after I installed it?
A: Try closing all your browser windows you may have opened, then re-open internet explorer and check it again. If this doesn't fix the issue, in Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Internet Options. Then choose the advanced tab. Make sure "Allow 3rd party browser extensions to run" is checked. Then click "apply" at the bottom of the window. Restart Internet Explorer and it should work for you. If still not working send us a message from our contact page and we will help you fix the issue.
Q: How do I uninstall my current version of Xippee on my Safari browser?
A: Our first versions of Xippee for Safari had a couple of bugs relating to the uninstallation and the bookmarks feature. Downloading the latest version from www.apple.com will fix the bookmarks issue and give you a working uninstaller should you still decide you need it.
Q: Where do I find the Xippee plug-in to delete it manually in Safari?
A: The Xippee file can be found here to delete it manually: /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/VSSafari.bundle or in our latest installation package in /Library/Internet Plugins/
Q: Why is Xippee not working on my Safari browser after I installed it?
A: Our latest installation package was primarily targeted for the Leopard operating system. If you do not have Leopard and Xippee isn't working for you then please try to use our previous installtion package. or if you have Safari 3.0.4 see answer below.
Q: Why is Xippee not working on my Firefox browser after I installed it?
A: The majority of the time this problem is caused by a clash between two or more extensions in your browser. If you send us a list of the extensions you have installed we can figure out how to fix the issue for you.
Q: Why is Xippee not working on my Safari browser 3.0.4 after I installed it?
A:
Quit Safari 3.0.4.
Click on the Finder icon in the dock to display a Finder window
Navigate to your home folder
From your home folder, navigate to the Library folder
From the Library Folder, navigate to the Preferences folder
Inside the Preferences Folder, throw the file com.apple.Safari.plist in the trash
Re-launch Safari 3.0.4
Doing this will only reset your preferences.
